Custom installation, screen and mantle

  custom designs fire screens to specific interior and exterior spaces.  The screens shown here were commissioned for prominent homes in Northern California. His creations reflect a variety of eclectic influences including ancient Celtic and Eastern art.

Each fire screen is hand-forged, then galvanized, then patinaed. Kennedy's screens are striking forms which range from simple shapes to intricate foliate work. 

Kennedy hand-tints each ceramic tile with a varied spectrum of pigments before the kiln process. This effect creates truly unique mosaic design of wonderfully rich vibrant colors and patterns.
